I am currently the dedicated inhouse Multimedia Graphic Designer for Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust. My key responsibilities involve designing all forms of creative content for the Trust and subsequent 35 academies, maintaining and updating 50 websites that are looked after by the Trust, and producing and editing video content to promote the individual schools and partnerships within the Trust.
During my time at BHCET I have designed posters, flyers, signage, logos, brochures, bookmarks, invitations, certificates, social media graphics, roller banners, adverts and powerpoint templates, to name a few!
I work across a range of media on a daily basis for a number of stakeholders, including teachers, governors, parents and students. There is never a dull day in education!
During my time working for Unicorn Publishing Group, I was responsible for many aspects of the company, from designing their biannual catalogues to creating and distributing marketing materials. As the first point of contact for the company, I always made sure to be friendly and approachable when handling enquiries or processing orders over the phone or online.
I am proud to have kept the company running during the first National lockdown and managed to process and package over 3,000 books single-handedly!
I have worked with a variety of people and companies during my time as a freelance designer. The most notable of these were FLEXX Creative; a web design agency based in East Sussex, and Shedunnit Productions; an independent publishing company.
I have been involved with a variety of creative projects whilst working for these companies, from web design to social media content to designing mascot characters for a children’s soft play centre!
